Gulfstream Communications Training

In partnership with FlightSafety International, SD offers satcom technology training classes specifically for operators of Gulfstream aircraft.

The classes provide comprehensive training on aircraft cabin communications for maintenance technicians, corporate flight attendants, and pilots.

The classroom portion of the training takes place at FlightSafety’s Maintenance Training Center at the Savannah Airport (SAV), and the hands-on training is conducted at Satcom Direct’s SAV office.

This six-hour course is designed to provide the maintenance technician with the knowledge and experience to operate, configure and maintain the Broadband Multi-Link system installed in the Gulfstream G350/G450/G500/G550. Class includes 4 hours of hands-on operation and troubleshooting in Satcom Direct’s on-site lab.

This comprehensive one day course is designed to meet the training requirements for a Planeview aircraft maintenance technician. The course provides the maintenance technician with the knowledge and experience to operate and maintain the Cabin Management System (CMS-1) installed in the aircraft. The course is a combination of system description, operation, interfaces, programming, configuration, software installation, failure and configuration downloads and extensive troubleshooting.
