Satcom Direct® launched the first version of our Plane Simple® website in 2006. The original design was simple, but the idea was to share with customers the tools that we use on a daily basis so that they can better diagnose and troubleshoot their satcom issues. Since then, we have continued to make improvements to the tools and design of the site. In October 2010, we released the latest version of Plane Simple to our customers, giving better visibility to aircraft usage for all services. With usage information now displayed on the home page, customers have a snapshot of their active services as well as historical usage information, which helps flight departments with budgeting and maintaining their operating costs. With access to configuration management tools, technical documents, RSS feeds for outage notifications, ORT tools and usage reports, Plane Simple has proven to be a valuable tool to our customers. Value-added services such as FlightDeck Freedom (FDF) and SD Flight Tracker can also be accessed from within Plane Simple.

We also released an all-in-one site www.gosatcom.com which provides access to Plane Simple, the new FDF Portal and SD Flight Tracker as well as the Satcom Direct main website. Early next month, we will release a new feature for the password protected sites allowing you to login to any of the three sites using a single login. You will no longer need to maintain three separate usernames and passwords.
