Accounting Specialist (Satellite Beach, FL)
Satcom Direct, Inc. is seeking a full time Accounting Professional to join our corporate office team in beautiful Satellite Beach, Florida. This position requires the performance of accurate and timely financial functions according to generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Accounts Payables
- 4 year degree in related field
- Complete working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Prior customer service experience
- Excellent written and communication skills
The successful candidate will have an overview of A/P and A/R. Other duties will include reconciliations, journal entries, accounts analysis, monthly expense reports, company credit card account maintenance, required reporting, invoicing, customer service and special projects.
Accounting experience is required, preferably in a multi-company environment; superior knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, MS Word and ability to learn specific internal systems and computer applications. Effective written and verbal communications a must. We have a multi-line phone system and many customers to satisfy, so a dynamic personality fits this bill. Requires attention to detail.

Activations Specialist - Customer Service Representative (Satellite Beach, FL)
Job Responsibilities:
- Activate and provision voice, fax, data-2 and internet service for corporate and government/military aircraft
- Experience with cellular and PBX services preferred
- Knowledge of Inmarsat, Iridium and DirecTv services is helpful
- Support customers with configuration, modification or deactivation of services
- Assist customers with online application options and submission
- Work with appropriate departmental teams within the company to achieve/satisfy customer's requirements
- Build a solid working relationship with assigned equipment manufacturers to ensure successful activation, provisioning, and testing as well as customer retention upon delivery of aircraft
- Willingness and ability to identify areas for process/procedure improvements

Customer Support Representative (Satellite Beach, Florida)
Satcom Direct Communications Customer Support Representative is a dynamic entry level position where you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls primarily regarding customer accounts and technical support for satellite phones, and Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) equipment. The position also involves shipping preparation and receiving of satellite phones and rentals, testing, packaging, inventory control and quality assurance.
Specific Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls relating to sales and rentals requests about satellite phones, satellite based internet and data connections for prepaid/monthly accounts and provide timely technical support
- Initiate sales/rental process by contacting customers to confirm orders
- Follow up on account queries received via e-mail and after hours voicemail
- Enter orders in company office systems and process payments and deposits
- Process orders and expedite accurate fulfillment of sales orders and rentals products
- Process all outgoing and incoming rental products into system inventory
- Perform administrative and miscellaneous sales support duties as directed
- Provide the highest level of delivery and quality assurance for total customer satisfaction
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
- General computer proficiency with MS Windows, Office and other general business software applications is required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer service and satisfaction
- Must have strong problem solving skills and ability to resolve limited technical issues
