Customer Support Representative (Florida)

Satcom Direct Communications Customer Support Representative is a dynamic entry level position where you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls primarily regarding customer accounts and technical support for Iridium satellite phones. The position also involves shipping preparation and receiving of Iridium phones and rentals, testing, packaging, inventory control and quality assurance. 

Specific Duties:

• Answer incoming phone calls relating to rental phones, prepaid/monthly accounts and technical support
• Initiate sales/rental process by contacting customers to confirm orders
• Follow up on account queries received via e-mail and after hours voicemail
• Enter orders in company office systems and process payments and deposits
• Processing sales orders and expediting accurate fulfillment of rentals products
• Process all outgoing and incoming rental products into system inventory
• Perform administrative and miscellaneous sales support duties as directed
• Provide the highest level of delivery and quality assurance for total customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
• General computer proficiency with MS Windows, Office and other general business software applications is required
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer service and satisfaction
• Must have strong problem solving skills and ability to resolve limited technical issues
• Good decision-making skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Telecommunication sales and service experience a plus

Activations and Customer Support Representative (Florida)

Satcom Direct, Inc. is seeking a full time Activations and Customer Support Representative to join our corporate office team in Satellite Beach, Florida.  This position requires the following:

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years customer support experience
• 1+ years experience in Business Aviation Industry, preferably at an FBO (fixed base operation) or at an airport
• Knowledge of aircraft type
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Good decision making and problem solving skills, especially under time constraints
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills
• Familiar with Inmarsat and Iridium services a plus
• Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Microsoft CRM a plus

As a customer support representative you will answer incoming phone calls from potential and current customers, obtain information for pre-completing customer service agreements and new accounts set-up, verify contact information and update database. In addition, duties will include Inmarsat and Iridium aeronautical service activations, technical support and report generation.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management or equivalent experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the demonstrated capacity to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Business Aviation industry experience.
